Dog Boarding
Last updated - Jan 2024

Our dog boarding kennels in Guernsey are second to none, providing a home-from-home for your canine friends.

Located in St Saviours, our facilities have outside areas ensuring that your dog has plenty of space to exercise, play and relax during their staycation with us.

If you are thinking about using our boarding service for the first time, we have introduced at least one compulsory daycare session before your dogs first staycation.

Why are we doing this?

- To see if this is the right environment for your dog(s) before you leave them for their first staycation

- So your dog(s) can meet our team

- So we can see if your dog(s) have any anxiety and may need extra daycare sessions before their staycation

- And most importantly, to see if your dog is happy!

Kennels are not for every dog, despite how outgoing your dog might be. Dogs can act differently when being away from their owners, being around other dogs in a group setting and in a new environment.

It's important to us that your dog enjoys their holiday as much as you will!

Doggy Play Time

Here at Four Paws Country Pet Hotel we believe your dog's exercise time is important to ensure the happiness of your pet.

We have three exercise areas, which include one large run around our building and two artificial grass runs.

Your dog will be exercised outside at least five times throughout the day and in good weather your dog may be out most of the day enjoying the sunshine.

We exercise all dogs on site, and all exercise is supervised.

With your permission your dog will play with dogs of similar size.

Less sociable dogs are exercised separately within our large grass areas.

Enrichment is as important to us as it is to your dog. We have lots of tennis balls, footballs, puzzles, kongs, play equipment and lots more fun things!

Please note: We no longer allow dogs to leave our premises to be walked by family members or dog walkers. Whilst your pet is in our care and under our responsibility we like to keep them on site where we can keep a close eye on them. They get plenty of exercise here and love to make new friends.
